Europe's Favorite Idle Games on iOS: A Q1 2021 Overview

The first quarter of 2021 has been an interesting period for idle games on the iOS platform in Europe. With data provided by Sensor Tower, let's take a glance at how the top five idler games have performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Idle Miner Tycoon: Money Games by Kolibri Games GmbH saw its revenue start at $62K in the last week of December 2020 and fluctuate, finishing at $40K by the end of March 2021. Downloads for the title began at 36K and showed an upward trend, ending the quarter at 29K. The game's weekly active users started strong at 1M but saw a slight decrease to 879K by the quarter's close.

DianDian Interactive Holding's Idle Mafia experienced a revenue trend that began at $35K and ended at $38K, with its peak at $40K in the second week of February. Downloads peaked at 8K in early January but settled at 4K by the end of March. Its weekly active users hovered around 43K at the start and ended slightly lower at 34K.

Auxbrain, Inc.'s Egg, Inc. showed a revenue trend starting at $32K, dipping in mid-February to $24K, and then stabilizing at around $21K. Downloads were highest at the start with 83K but dropped to 39K towards the end of March. Weekly active users began at 262K, with a slight increase to 281K by the end of the quarter.

Ndemic Creations' Plague Inc. saw its revenue decrease from $22K to under $10K by the end of the quarter. The game's downloads started at 6K and maintained a steady pace, ending at a similar figure. Active users, however, saw a decline from 8K to just under 5K.

Lastly, Trailer Park Boys Greasy Money by Eastside Games showed a revenue trend that began at $13K, peaked at $14K in late March, and saw downloads decrease from 2K to 1.5K. The game's weekly active users started at 6.5K and ended the quarter at 6.7K.
